There is a big poster on a bus shelter on my way to work I pass by every day. It is a big dark picture of “Judge Judy”. Been there for about a month now!
It is promoted by “YesTVCanada/yestv.com
At over $45 million per year it is the last thing people here in this country would want to see or at least promote. She is the highest paid TV entertainer/personality in the U.S. and possibly the world.
This is why we have wars! The uneven distribution of wealth.
This is why “the cold war”, “Bin Ladden”, “9/11”, and now, ISIS exist.
We blindly promote the pyramids of wealth and poverty via our educational systems and media.
She is not worth more then any other person alive on this planet or now orbiting our space.
So many people have nothing to do all day but watch TV, notably the unemployed, disabled, and possibly even some of our prisoners of various institutions. Others have no food, clean water, shelter or clean air!
I think that this poster should be taken down and the advertisers “charged with ignorance” as it contravenes what a healthy just Canadian people should be.
We Canadians should demand better then what we were taught and thrown at us from all sides as if nothing is wrong with the way we live and do business.
