The Canadian Government is threatening to to close down pot shops in B.C.
Many of us located elsewhere in the country were waiting for such stores to open up in their Province or city. Myself included! Would rather do it the legal route!
It is for me a recreational drug much preferred over the legal alcohol readily available every few blocks in downtown Toronto. I am within walking distance of four beer, one liquor, and a couple of wine stores. As for restaurants serving alcohol, there are too many to count. There is also at least one delivery service available for alcohol that I know of.
It is not about me but every one that lives in the hood.
Where as alcohol is legal, pot or marijuana is not but almost as readily available. On a twenty minute walk to the city center I walk by at least ten people every time with fresh bud smell emanating from their aura (personal space).
It is easily found in most drinking establishment, some restaurant, high schools (mind you I never go looking for it there), know at least five people who can supply me if and when required and then there are also like the alcohol, a delivery service. You call them up and latter that day it is delivered to your door. Have not used the service but it is out there.
I will repeat what I’ve written many times; if tobacco and alcohol are legal then so should marijuana!
The existing problem or main issue is that the Government does not make any money with the product. It is doing it slowly, making inroads of its processing, distribution, and marketing. Like alcohol, tobacco, gambling and fuel for personal and motorized recreational vehicles Governments love to thrive on revenues from “evils” or, our weaknesses.
So for the people of Vancouver and Victoria who use the dispensary services it is time to stock up or to look at the black market alternatives. Freeze it, it lasts. Then again does it?
If the Fed. Gov. had any clout or backbone they would not have to send in the dreaded, fearful RCMP but rather pass along the messages to local law agencies to back up the laws or get fined/reprimanded/fired!
I see many teens and young adults with cigarettes in their mouths, an indication of how sick and weak those in power who are supposed to protect people are, as they are not doing their job.
Leaderless people are lost as they follow the blind to nowhere good.
Alcohol, tobacco, gambling, limitless; house sizes, air/road miles, engine/vehicle size, wealth, all ignored by Vision-less pseudo-Governments. Limitless wealth resulting in others having nothing.
KingGDerome a self-proclaimed king will leave, self-exiling himself from a Country that has so much potential yet so disappointing to myself and the rest of the (dying)world.
Not proud to be Canadian. We, most of us live like Kings here while others worldwide wither away too soon.
Have a toke Mr. Harper it may do you some good! Have a sit down with Mulclair, Trudeau, and May. Have a couple of joints and wake up and smell the roses of our reality. Your petty politics until now puts us to shame as you are nothing but pawns of other world real powers.
