Volunteers needed!
What most fail to see, realize or talk about at the moment is that other then the 300 or so girls kidnapped in Nigeria a couple/few of weeks ago there are tens (if not hundreds) of thousands of other girls, women, and children that go missing every year around the world.
Missing I mean as falling or forced into the hands of illegal underpaid work and sex slave industries.
Many of these missing end up as “Jane Does” in the many morgues around the world.
That issue is deeper then religion which seems to be what the news here makes out to be.
Do those “Islamic Militants” kidnap girls in order to keep them away from the “Free World” where seduction into knows evils (alcohol, tobacco, gambling, over-consumption and waste of resources, abortion, sexual freedom) are deemed not only okay but inter-twined with the Governments themselves! There is a valid point there, not that I approve of their method.
Again I see that the uneven distribution of wealth as the main cause or culprit in this type of event.
One sign that comes alongside this “# Bring Back our Girls” is that “Rich men do not buy girls”. On my “Twitter” (KingGDerome) I wrote, “Men have always, still do and always will do so unless the uneven distribution of wealth is ironed out”. When I write “men” I mean both women and men even though it is mostly the males.
My 1,000 or so empty 2L pop clear and green bottles with various colour labels could make quite a big sign in a parking lot or park! Any volunteers willing to help me, bag, sort and show the world we also care, If so send me an e-mail. Must live in the city of Toronto and within walking or cycling distance of downtown.
Maybe I should send out invites to the local schools, community centers, but then again I know that the principals, patrons, and teachers would keep this invite, idea and,especially me, away from the “so-called” children. They know and understand more then we give them credit for! Mind you some are still very innocent at 13 years of age, others already adults in many ways.
