Here is a copy of an article found this morning on MSN.ca writen by the Canadian Medical Association (CMA). Within the text it claims that we live in a “prosperous country” but fails to realize or indicate where this wealth is going.

We all know that wealth and health are directly linked. The wealthy are in better health in more ways then the physical then the poor. We see this between and within most countries on the planet.
Other then a regular supply of affordable quality foods and medical expenses directly associated with money there is also the activities in the “Arts & Cultures” that are out of reach to many.
Here they indicate a salary of under $33K per year for a “family” as a division point. For individuals nothing was said knowing that myself I have averaged less then $20K per year over the last 9 years. Like the family group after the basics of survival like rent, food, energy, clothe and very inexpensive “vacation” like within the Province, there is not much left. With those regular necessary expenditures there is not much left over to add to my already small pension fund.
To go to movies, concerts, plays, cottage, travel, sports events, treating others to a restaurant amongst other things, takes money. One should not go into debt only to be involved what those with plenty of wealth take for granted.
Sure, our country is prosperous but the wealth or profits, coming from the labour of our people, its resources and our (Mankinds) accumulated ingeniuty does not go to us. Some of it goes in the same few pockets here while a large portion ends up in others located on foreign soils.
The CMA is right the country is very prosperous and like the people and pseudo-politicians their hands are tied as to it’s distribution! This prosperity goes to build weapons, fences and even entire culture based communities in other countries and help already multi-millionaires increase their net worth.
The whole idea of my Project 10 Billion is to stop this injustice from continuing, not only here in this country but everywhere on this planet. The pyramids of wealth and power in its present form must be dismantled for the sake of everyones health. Not just us humans but also all other life on this planet.
Most of the profits of extra income after basic needs are covered goes towards things people want and desire while leaving other basic needs ignored.
